Privacy notice
How we use the details you give us through this website.
Who we are
Paywala is a trading name of Kimmora Holdings Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17257891), registered office 16 Great Queen Street, Covent Garden, London WC2B 5AH. We are the data controller for the personal data collected through this website.
What we collect, and why
This website is a pre-launch site. The only personal data it collects is what you choose to give us:
- Waitlist sign-ups: your name, work email address, organisation and the kind of interest you tell us you have. We use these to let you know when Paywala launches and to send occasional updates about what we are building. Our lawful basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing or emailing us.
- Email enquiries: if you email hello@paywala.io or partners@paywala.io we keep your message and our reply so that we can respond to you and follow up. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in answering the people who contact us.
We do not sell personal data, and we do not share it with anyone outside the companies that help us run this website and our email.
Who processes it for us
Waitlist submissions are received and stored by our website host, Netlify, Inc., and delivered to our business email, which is run by our email provider. Both act on our instructions under contract. Some of these providers process data outside the UK; where they do, the transfer is covered by the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision.
How long we keep it
Waitlist details are kept until Paywala has launched and you have had the chance to become a customer or unsubscribe, and in any case no longer than 24 months from the date you signed up. Email enquiries are kept for as long as the conversation is live, and for 12 months afterwards.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. Email privacy@paywala.io and we will reply within one month. If you are unhappy with how we have handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This website does not set tracking or advertising cookies, and it does not use third-party analytics. The only storage it uses is what your browser needs to show the page. If we add analytics in future we will update this notice and ask for your consent first.
Accessibility
We want everyone to be able to use this website. It is built to the WCAG 2.2 AA guidelines: it works with a keyboard, with screen readers, at 400% zoom and with reduced-motion settings. If anything is hard to use, email hello@paywala.io and we will fix it.
Changes to this notice
We will update this notice as Paywala moves from pre-launch to live services, when it will be replaced by a full customer privacy notice. The date at the top tells you when it last changed.
